HOW TO PERSONALIZE YOUR RING

Below are some examples of how to personalize a unique engagement ring or wedding band.

Birthstones

Birthstones are a subtle personal touch to your precious jewelry. In the example shown, five birthstones accent the inside of a custom diamond engagement ring. Birthstones may symbolize him and her in bridal jewelry, or children in a mother's ring.

Chinese Characters

Chinese characters may convey your love through the use of one symbol. Shown on the left is the character representing love. A custom-made mokume engagement ring features this symbol on the bottom of the band in metal. Another custom ring has the love character etched on the bottom of an engagement ring bezel.

On the right is a one-of-a-kind wedding band with Chinese characters on the inside of the ring. Dragonflies and stars were added to the outside as a custom design.

Constellations & Astrological Signs

Customize your ring with the constellation representing your astrological sign! This celestial wedding band has sparkling gemstones in place of Taurus' stars. The image on the right depicts the symbol for Leo as a metal flush inlay in the ring head.

Family Crests

Tattoo-Inspired Imagery

Tattoo graphics often translate well into jewelry. This unique diamond wedding band and pair of palladium earrings feature fish derived from the tattoo on the left.

Below is an etched sun symbol inside a mokume wedding band. You can see the original tattoo graphic which served as the inspiration.

Musical Symbols

Shown to the right is another musical ring. An f-hole, seen in violins and guitars, repeats around a mokume gane band with diamonds.

Words

The ways to customize jewelry with words and phrases are endless. We offer inscriptions for the inside of our handcrafted rings in a block or script font. On the left you can significant dates inscribed in mokume wedding bands. Space permitting, your ring can have a poetic phrase.

Text may serve as the focus of the ring, such as in the brushed finish wedding band on the right. A Latin phrase with darkened recesses has a dramatic impact. You may also have initials handcrafted as a sculptural part of the band. The letters in the rings shown are stylized to match the sculptural tendrils in the Delicate Leaf Diamond Engagement Ring.
