Ready, set, go! Picking a design: You can start with something from our uber-sheik designer collection of diamond and sapphire engagement rings, unusual men’s rings, diamond and pearl jewelry, and top-of-the-line mokume gane wedding bands and request modifications from there, or we will work with you to create something brand new. Everything is made in-house, handcrafted from the ground up, around your specifications and our design sensibilities, and we will joyfully guide the process of building your custom jewelry from start to finish.
Call or email us: While all three specialists are ready to assist you, Jackie is most likely to be the one facilitating your order, and is the front-woman for email inquiries. Jackie has a deep-rooted passion for gems and jewelry, backed by years of experience in the jewelry and gemology field. She is extremely knowledgable, is customer oriented, and gives each client all of her focused attention and experience. She is always happy to take time to answer all of your questions.
Do you want experience and a trained eye for aesthetics to help guide the design of your ring? Jackie has great insight on what works well design-wise. She will gladly guide your choices to make sure you make the most informed decisions possible. She consults with Lisa on a regular basis, and Lisa engineers every commission before it goes to the workshop for optimal balance and proportions.
How about years of experience in the field of gemology and access to the top premium goods in the industry? As an insider to the diamond and sapphire trade, Jackie knows what's hot and what's available now. She has a virtual inventory of tens of thousands of diamonds and sapphires at her fingertips, and she does a quality control check on every stone we sell, to make sure it passes our strict quality control standards.
Need to talk to someone about the details of your order? Scheduling, accounting, and general customer service is the domain of the most excellent Melissa. She gives new meaning to the art of customer service, and without exception will respond to your inquiries with impeccable and gracious attention. With years of experience and dedication at Krikawa, she can answer just about any question you pose, and if not, her resourcefulness is unparalleled.

Sometimes we make modifications to existing designs, like this modification to Mokume Solitaire Tapered, which is what the customer originally ordered. However, Lisa felt that the large marquise diamond on the tapering mokume band did not have graceful proportions. Lisa suggested the above modification, and added a wedding band to show that it would be contoured to the ring.

CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS AND DEVELOPMENT
Would you like a totally new design within our design sensibilities? Lisa is passionate about creating new designs, and looks forward to the opportunity to work together with clients to create something special and new. Jackie facilitates the experience for you, making sure that your important criteria are understood and translated into paper and pencil with the usual Krikawa flair. You will first be given a couple of quick sketches, like the one at the top right, and when we have your approval, we create detailed renderings that show the design from different angles, with the proper proportions of stone and ring size. Upon your approval, we go into production.

Take your experience up a notch by visiting our private atelier in the spectacular Sonoran Desert. While we do not stock an inventory, we will have samples and stones ready for your perusal. Most of our clients that visit us fly in from all over the country, and even from overseas, so consider the desert Southwest for your next weekend getaway. We will be happy to provide you with a private concierge service for your journey.

main selling point for me. I had an idea in mind
to create a very unique ring and Lisa helped me
realize this idea and create a beautiful ring that
everyone loves and more importantly, my fiance
adores.
Ease of Ordering: Excellent Despite my back and forth wavering, (diamonds or
sapphire) the Krikawa team was with it all the

FINAL INSPECTION AND SHIPPING
Jackie performs a QC (quality control) check on every ring that leaves the studio. We have very strict quality control standards for fabrication, stone setting, and finishing, and she makes sure we meet it every time. We like to keep Jackie (and our clients) happy!
Once a ring has been delivered, Jackie also sends out quality control surveys. We want to make sure we met and hopefully exceeded all expectations. We discovered that sometimes clients are too shy to mention little details that they might want changed, and many times, it is a piece of cake for us! The survey allows us to track our performance, and it means a lot to us to hear honest responses. This way we can be sure that we have done everything in our power to assure the best Krikawa Experience for everyone. |
Chris the FedEx guy comes every day, but this day was worth photographing! Unfortunately, it's not all finished rings. We ship samples, sizing rings, sapphires for approval, and diamonds and sapphires back to vendors after our selection.
